In
July of 2021, Marvel Studios released the first movie in the Captain Marvel
Trilogy: Captain Marvel. The second installment is set to release on February
6th, 2023 and will be a direct sequel to the first film. The film focuses on
Carol Danvers’s search for her past and while she searches, she becomes more
powerful than ever before. The film will also introduce new villains and heroes
that can potentially join the MCU as well. It was announced in 2020 at
Comic-Con International that Joe Russo would return to direct Captain Marvel 2,
with Victoria Alonso producing. Variety reported later that month on the
signing of Michelle McLaren to compose the score for the film. Little is known
about where this movie will take place; however, it is safe to say it will
happen somewhere within Earth’s atmosphere because Carol Danvers must blast off
into space again and come back home with a fresh batch of space battle stories
(Captain Marvel). Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again!: At the end of Mamma Mia!, there
were numerous hints that suggested a sequel might be made which caused many
fans to become excited. Many people are wondering what could happen next, but
it seems like it won't really matter because this movie is guaranteed to make
you laugh and cry from all the happy memories you get from watching. We want
people walking out humming one of our songs after seeing Mamma Mia! Here We Go
Again!, director Ol Parker has said in an interview. I want them feeling nostalgic.
2) The Batman

This
blockbuster movie is set to release on the opening day of summer, July 15th.
The film has been shrouded in secrecy, with not even the cast or director
knowing anything. One thing that is known is that it will be a standalone
Batman movie and not feature any other DC heroes from other movies. With only a
few months before release, there are a lot of questions about this film. Will
Ben Affleck come back as Batman? Will Bruce Wayne and Alfred make an
appearance? And what does it mean for the future of the DC Universe? While we
don't know for sure what will happen at this point, one thing's for certain:
The World Needs Heroes. This movie takes place ten years after Superman’s death
in his battle against General Zod. He leaves behind his son Jon Kent who finds
himself growing up without his father and trying to live up to the expectations
of those around him-including Jonathan Kent’s successor as Daily Planet
Editor-in-Chief, Perry White. Jonathan tries to take up some of Clark’s heroic
mantle despite all the threats against earth following General Zod’s return and
Clark’s absence but eventually learns he doesn’t have powers like his dad did
and can do better doing other things instead.
3) Aquaman 2

Aquaman
2 is a movie set to release on November 6th, 2022. The film will be directed by
James Cameron and will star the same cast as the first movie. The plot of the
film is unknown at this point, but it is expected to be a sequel to the first
Aquaman movie. There are no other movies released or announced for release on
that date yet, so Aquaman 2 looks like it might not have any competition when
it's released. It will likely do well with audiences because of its success
with critics and fans alike. It’s set to come out on December 18th, 2023 and it
was written by Ben Affleck who also stars in the movie alongside Emma Watson.
The
title of the movie is called Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice
The
script was originally written by Chris Terrio from Batman v Superman: Dawn of
Justice with help from David S. Goyer from Batman Begins.
It’s
been estimated to make over $100 million dollars during its opening weekend
which would make it one of Warner Bros most successful films ever made! Zack
Snyder directs the film while Henry Cavill and Amy Adams return as Clark
Kent/Superman trying to do what he can
to stop him from becoming his worst nightmare: Batman vs Superman: Dawn of
Justice
4) The Suicide Squad

In
the film, the government assembles a team of death row inmates to execute
high-risk black ops missions in exchange for their freedom. Led by military
veteran Rick Flag, this so-called Task Force X consists of: Dr. Harleen Quinzel
(a psychologist), Deadshot (the world's deadliest marksman), Captain Boomerang,
Enchantress (an ancient sorceress), Harley Quinn and Killer Croc. The team is
put into action with a mission to extract classified information from an
airborne aircraft that has been hijacked by a terrorist organization known as
Faust. The Suicide Squad sees the return of Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot
Robbie as Harley Quinn and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. Also joining the cast
are Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Adewale
Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Cara Delevingne as
Enchantress and Adam Beach as Slipknot. Joel Kinnaman portrays Rick Flag who
leads both teams on different parts of their mission. He says, It would have
been nice if we had done more exploration of these characters. Will Smith was
one of his favorite actors and he liked working with him. He was really good at
being able to ad lib and make stuff up, he said about Smith. That's kind of
what you need when you're dealing with some of these characters because they're
not always written very well.
5) Black Panther 2

It
was announced by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, who said Black Panther 2
is definitely going to happen, and that he's confident the film will be
released in 2020. Director Ryan Coogler has also expressed his eagerness to
make a sequel. The sequel is expected to take place after the events of
Avengers: Endgame. In February, Feige stated that some production work on Deadpool 3: A third Deadpool film is planned
for release sometime in 2021. Currently under development, it would reportedly
center around Cable (Josh Brolin) with Terry Crews as Dopinder serving as the
villain. Though plot details are unknown, there are rumors it may involve
Deadpool trying to kill Cable after some time travel plotline or something like
that. While this seems ridiculous, they’ve proven me wrong before. One more
thing: I can't wait to see what they do with Cable! He’s one of my favorite
comic book characters so I hope they do him justice in the movie. We'll find
out when it comes out. Disney/Pixar's Incredibles 2: As we all know, Brad Bird
is coming back to write and direct the long-awaited sequel from 2004. To put it
bluntly: We have no idea when this might come out but many think 2020 or 2021
might be possible dates. If you've been patiently waiting for any news about Incredible
2, then good news! During an interview with IGN at D23 Expo 2018, Brad Bird
revealed that he hopes Incredible 2 will come out in June 2022...followed by
Toy Story 4 on November 18th 2022 if all goes well.
