With
all the innovation happening in the world of technology these days, it can be
hard to keep up with the latest developments and where they could lead us in
the future. Luckily, we’ve compiled 7 useful technologies that are currently
being developed and that you need to know about as they become increasingly
commonplace over the next few years. Let’s take a look at each one!

Everyday
Google Glass wearers use the device to:
1)
take photos and videos; 2) send messages; 3) get directions; 4) search for
places on map or in Google Maps; 5) check email; 6) listen to music and
podcasts; 7) record their voice using voice commands. 1) Take Photos and Videos
- Many users of Google Glass are able to take photos, shoot video, and upload
images right from their eye view. 2) Send Messages - Using a built-in keyboard,
one can easily text anyone they want. 3) Get Directions - With the integrated
GPS service, one can type in a destination to find out where they need to go
next.
4)
Search Places On Map or In Google Maps - By typing an address into the map app
on your phone you can also see that address come up with turn-by-turn
navigation through your glasses' display screen. 5) Check Email - Whether it be
Gmail, Yahoo!, Outlook, AOL mail...you name it! It's possible to connect your
smartphone account to your Glass headset and have all of those notifications
pop up as well. 6) Listen To Music And Podcasts - Allowing you to tune in and
tune out at any moment, Google Glass has many features built-in like Pandora,
Spotify, or SoundCloud. 7) Record Your Voice - Wanting some audio without being
seen? One can say ok glass followed by record a video or record audio in order
to secretly do just that!
The Oculus Rift

I
am stoked about this technology because it can really enhance my gaming
experience and make me feel like I am really in the game world. It is also a
good way for me to get out of bed after staying up late playing games on my
computer or video games console! The Rift is lightweight, which makes it easy
to wear, but I think that all the straps could get annoying after a while, so
you should probably just buy an elastic strap so you don't have to keep
adjusting it throughout the day. It's kind of pricey at $600 US Dollars, but
you have to consider how much time and effort went into making this headset;
plus the company is planning on releasing more models with better displays and
performance over time for $300-400 US Dollars each. Overall, I think that this
piece of technology has great potential if they keep improving on their design
and work out any bugs as soon as possible! I'm not sure if these goggles are
supposed to be used by kids too because I might break them if I sat on them,
but maybe there is a model meant for kids? They would be perfect for amusement
parks where you can sit down and put them on instead of waiting in line!
I
think the Oculus Rift will revolutionize gaming industry and encourage
developers to produce immersive games that everyone wants to play. However,
this invention doesn't seem like something I will use very often outside of VR
compatible games because most everyday tasks require sight and wearing these
goggles would be awkward.
Apple Watch

The
Apple Watch is a revolutionary new technology that will change the way we live,
work, and play. It's been called the most personal device ever created. It's
also the most versatile and useful smartwatch ever. The Apple Watch combines
functionality and style in one truly innovative package. With its beautiful
curved design and many customizable options, it fits comfortably with any
outfit or occasion. And now Apple Watch has a cellular connection. That means
you can go for a run with just your watch or leave your phone at home when you
travel abroad. The possibilities are endless. - Music: Download your favorite
playlist for offline listening. - Activity: Measure calories burned, distance
traveled, and time spent exercising. - Passbook: Instantly redeem coupons from
Passbook without having to use a code or show your card to the cashier. - Maps:
Get directions on the go (no need to find an internet connection) and measure
distances between two points on map while still getting turn-by-turn navigation
guidance as before. - Calls: Take calls right from your wrist so you never miss
an important call again--even if you don't have your phone handy! You can
answer or reject calls with text messages--and even make calls via Siri voice
control.
Sony Smart Eyeglass

Sony
has taken an interesting approach with their newest innovation, the
Smart Eyeglass. This device is an entirely new way of interacting with
technology, by creating a new layer of information and interaction directly in
front of your eyes. Wearers can see notifications and messages from their
phone, get directions from Google Maps, or stream video from YouTube all while
staying hands-free. The Smart Eyeglass also features a built-in camera for
capturing memories on the go and the ability to take pictures or record videos
just by tapping on the side of your eyewear. The integrated headband allows the
device to be worn comfortably throughout the day without becoming heavy. It
also folds up into a portable case that you can put away in your pocket or
purse when not in use so it’s always at hand when you need it. In this new
world where everyone is constantly looking down at their phones, it's nice to
know there's a futuristic way to stay connected without being glued to the
screen.
LG G Watch

The
LG G Watch is one of the latest and most anticipated Android Wear devices. It
will be available in a variety of styles and colors, so it's sure to fit your
personal style. It features a 1.65-inch display, which is larger than the
1,280x720 display on the Samsung Gear Live (1.63 inches), but smaller than the
1,440x960 display on the Moto 360 (1.37 inches). The LG G Watch also has an
IP67 rating for water resistance up to three feet for 30 minutes. This means
that you can take this watch into the shower or wear it while washing dishes
without having to worry about damaging it! And with its built-in pedometer,
activity monitor, heart rate sensor and fitness app, the LG G Watch is perfect
for all those health nuts out there who want to keep track of their daily
activities. In addition, users will be able to download apps from Google Play
like Uber and Lyft right onto the device. And with a 400mAh battery, users
should have enough power to get through at least two days before needing a
recharge. Other specifications include Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy technology, as
well as accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensors for detecting motion and
location.
Samsung Galaxy Gear

The Galaxy Gear
will be compatible with Samsung's new flagship phone, the Galaxy Note 3, as
well as a slew of other Android devices. It features a 1.6-inch touchscreen, as
well as an assortment of sensors that can measure your heart rate, among other
things. There are also two cameras on board, which means you'll be able to do
all sorts of neat tricks like take pictures and record video while the watch is
on your wrist. Unfortunately, there's no word yet about whether it will come in
a variety of colors, but we're holding out hope! We're really looking forward
to hearing what people think of this next generation technology. If you've got
questions about how it works, stay tuned for more blog posts coming soon. In
the meantime, check out some of these reviews from around the web:
Nokia Lumix Smart Camera

A
new Nokia camera has recently been released, the Lumix Smart Camera. This is a
camera that can be controlled by your phone. It includes features such as
geo-tagging and panoramic shots. In addition, it also includes editing software
for both iOS and Android devices that are used in conjunction with the camera.
These features make it one of the most useful cameras on the market today.
The
design of this camera is very sleek and modern-looking with a touchscreen
interface on the back of it, making it easy to use no matter what device you're
using. Plus, this camera has additional features that allow for instant uploads
when connected to WiFi networks so you can share memories with friends and
family instantly! This camera is great for those who want to capture all their
special moments without having to carry around extra equipment.
Nokia's
Lumix Smart Camera also has some great features designed for those who want to
take more advanced photographs, such as burst mode, time lapse photography and
other similar settings.
The
best part about this camera? The cost--it costs less than many other comparable
models!
In
conclusion, I would highly recommend Nokia's Lumix Smart Camera for anyone
looking for a quality yet inexpensive point-and-shoot camera that can be
conveniently controlled from your smartphone or tablet.
